Floor vent fitting in wooden floors - Observatory, Cape Town

22-11-2014 | Cape Town

I have a problem with damp in my wooden floors. So I have bought some brass plates to act as vents and I need 8 rectangular holes cut into my floors and routed around the edges to perfectly fit the brass plates. Firstly, you'll need to try it out on a scrap piece of wood before doing any potential damage to the floor. Then, you'll need to cut just one hole to prove the concept. Then I will get the plates laser cut. Then you'll need to come back and cut the other 8 rectangular holes.
